It is all well and good when we, an e-cigarette company, tell you how e-cigarettes can change your life, but it’s an entirely different story when you hear from someone who actually uses SMOKO.

"I have been with SMOKO E-Cigarettes for three years now and haven't had a real cigarette since then. This has got to be one of the easiest ways to give up! I was a heavy smoker and had smoked for 40+ years, and never thought I would do it. I had tried to give up so many times but found it too hard. Then I discovered SMOKO and it was amazing.

E-CIGARETTES V.S NICOTINE PATCHES AND GUM
We have all been where Patricia was, wanting to quit cold turkey, and having it working for a while... but then something happens to push us back to smoking. We then try the nictine patches and gum, but they just don't work.
The good news is that E-cigarettes have been shown to be much more effective than patches or gum, with one study saying that a smokers is up to 60% more likely to quit with e-cigarettes than with patches or gum.
The reason for this is not clear, though there are theories. One of the leading ideas is that because you're still puffing on something, you're able to make the switch easier. Patches and gum may give you the same amount of nicotine as an e-cigarette, but they don't seem to give the same hand-to-mouth satisfaction.
Patches and gum also don't give you the same taste or feel of a cigarette, and the psychological habit of smoking can be just as hard to break as the purely chemical nicotine addiction.
Patricia also makes a good point about not trying to use both cigarettes and E-cigarettes at the same time. It may work at first but it is too easy to fall back into old habits. If for example you're out and your battery runs out of charge, or you forget to bring a spare refill. If you use both then it is too simple to just reach for a cigarette and forget the e-cigarette.
HEALTH BENEFITS OF VAPING
Using E-Cigarettes and tobacco though is also nowhere near as good for you as making the switch completely. Recently Cancer Research UK looked into the long term effects of e-cigarettes and cigarettes. They found that although people who use both do get less toxins in their bodies, they still have a much higher percentage of toxins then people who just use e-cigarettes.
And that is backed up by Public heath England, the independent health organisation in the UK who advises the government. For years now they have said that switching completely to E-Cigarettes is the best move for smokers. They even say that E-Cigarettes are at least 95% less harmful than traditional cigarettes.
IS VAPING CHEAPER THAN SMOKING
But let’s consider the cost of smoking. As Patricia mentioned the cost of cigarettes is huge, after all a pack of cigarettes is at least £10 and set to rise! If you compare that to E-cigarettes where 1 refill (which is 30 cigarettes worth of nicotine) costs a maximum of £2, that is a 80% difference!
In one year if you go through 1 refill a day you will save almost £3,000! And if you take advantage of our weekly deals you can save even more money.
If you are looking to get healthier and spend less money then switching to E-Cigarettes as they are cheaper than cigarettes and taste (and feel) just like tobacco.
Though there has been no definitive answer on how much e-cigarettes can help with your lungs there is plenty of anecdotal evidence to show how much it can help.
