Electronic Cigarettes a "Legitimate Path to Health Improvement"

Recently the prime minister, David Cameron, has said that e-cigarettes are a "legitimate path" to improve the health of the nation. Mr Cameron was speaking at a question time recently when the issue of e-cigarettes were raised.

As an ex-smoker he admitted how difficult it was to give up the habit and stated that "Lots of people find different ways of doing it and clearly for some people that way is e-cigarettes".

“It is promising to see that over a million people are estimated to have used e-cigarettes to help quit or have replaced smoking with e-cigarettes completely. I think we should make it clear that this is a very legitimate path for many people to improve their health and therefore the health of the nation”

It is always refreshing to see people in power taking an interest in issues that affect some many people as smoking does.  This come a month or two after e-cigarettes were declared over 95% less harmful then cigarettes.

The outlook then for the future seems just a little brighter for e-cigarettes and for the health of the nation as more people in power and people in general see the benefits of e-cigarettes.
